Paul Pogba silenced his critics with a world-class performance on Saturday’s game.

United’s star player, Paul Pogba was easily the man of the match but the person that may have had the most influence on United’s amazing comeback was the Manager. This means during half-time, United manager Jose Mourinho definitely said something to his players to rile them up. Fortunately, United defender, Chris Smalling has revealed what Mourinho said in the United dressing room during half-time.

“He didn’t have to say too much because deep down we knew as players that that wasn’t good enough, and he sort of emphasized that we don’t want to be the clowns who are standing there watching them get their trophy.”

“At half-time we were feeling sorry for ourselves, we wanted to go out there and play with prided and thought we full deserved it in the end. The first half was terrible, we dropped off didn’t play our game, and could have been out of sight.”
