The 26-year-old French striker was set to leave Atletico last summer but refused to make the move while the Spanish side was in the midst of a transfer ban.
Barcelona and the player have reportedly come to an agreement over a transfer that will see the talented forward finally leave Atletico after four successful years. Ernesto Valverde, the Barcelona head coach, is a big fan of the French international, and he will trigger Griezmann’s €100m (£87.9m) release clause when the transfer window opens in July.
Journalist Albert Roge, of Spanish publication, Sport, claims the deal is as good as sealed.
